Application Delivery Network Optimization
Problem
Global application performance depends on more than raw WAN bandwidth. DNS routing choices, HTTP proxy behavior, and TCP stack efficiency all affect end-user latency across the Aryaka network.
How it works
- DNS proxy/reroute components influence how names resolve and which paths applications take.
- HTTP acceleration services optimize request/response handling for web applications traversing the network.
- TCP/IP stack and related path components are tuned to reduce stalls and improve throughput for long-haul sessions.
- Together these pieces form the Application Delivery Network (ADN) layer above basic connectivity.
What I built / owned
- Developed and optimized DNS routing components for better application path selection.
- Worked on HTTP acceleration and TCP/IP stack improvements for lower end-user latency.
- Contributed to ADN behavior that improves global application performance.
Impact
Faster, more consistent application experience for users across multi-site and global deployments.
